Kids need structure.

Kids need freedom.

Schooner does both.

Schooner Learning Academy’s curriculum mixes structured, age appropriate lessons with exploration on a kid’s own terms.

Modern, Hand Created Lessons

Schooner’s year-round curriculum is exclusive to our school, and is designed to provide a comprehensive early childhood experience that integrates all the ways children learn.

Our curriculum is consistently reviewed and updated to bring it into alignment with modern early childhood research.

Smarts for the Mind and Heart

Children learn letters, numbers and phonics, but also learn soft skills like compassion and understanding.

Content That’s Inclusive

In summer, students will spend time immersed in the cultures of countries around the world. They’ll receive instruction about the food, communities, and traditions of people from diverse backgrounds, and even try new foods!

A Sample Month’s Instruction

A young boy with short light brown hair, wearing a colorful jacket, is sitting at a wooden table and doing a craft project. The project involves a blue sheet of paper with a white circle decorated with blue dots, and various colored paper strips are being glued onto the circle. The table has additional paper strips scattered on it, and in the background, there are storage bins on a shelf in a classroom or similar setting.
